This course is designed for students that have taken Photoshop I: Beginning Users or who have a basic user interface with Adobe Photoshop, Bridge and Camera Raw. Photographers, graphic designers and any others with a creative bent will enjoy this class.
The intermediate class takes students to the next level in digital imaging techniques and tools. With core knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Bridge and Camera Raw, participants build a wider skill set for creativity via advanced layering, masking, blend modes, opacity, selection tools, transforming, compositing, filters, black and white/sepia conversions, and create HDR photos and special effects. The class will also increase student productivity through the use of shortcuts. Hands-on training and close instructor supervision reinforces concepts presented through lecture and demonstration.
Prerequisite: Photoshop I: Beginning Users or instructor approval.
This course will be taught in JDPW's new state-of-the art digital lab. Each student will have their own workstation equipped with a 27" iMac computer and loaded with Photoshop CS5 Extended. Bamboo Pen & Touch digital tablets are available if needed.
